Die cutting and embossing

Thanks to its specific properties, the base plate material - which we developed and produce in our own manufacturing plant - is suitable both for die cutting and embossing in one operation as well as for use in combination with steel counterplates.

The compressive strength resulting from the homogeneous nature of the material offers advantages when used as the base for embossing dies. The die base plate does not need to be opened in order to take embossing holders and is therefore considerably stronger compared with those used in convectional processes.

Thanks to the patented design of the embossing holder, it is possible to adjust the embossing dies quickly, accurately and reproducibly. Individual dies can be adjusted highly selectively without changing the registration once it has been attained.

The LINPOS® setting up system is very helpful for print matching. Positioning is implemented off the machine on a purely optical basis.
