The IDEA is the most advanced automatic bending machine in the field of modern line processing. It sets new standards in terms of speed as well as with regard to the bending results now achievable.
Our new investment in IDEA makes the production process even more efficient. With a new automatic bending machine, Karl Linhardt GmbH has further increased its capacities in the line processing area.
The goal is to make the production and application of dies as easy as possible while constantly improving efficiency and yield. Developed by Serviform to meet our very highest quality standards, the IDEA makes every conceivable processing step possible, which is crucial for us as a modern die manufacturer. The IDEA automatic bending machine processes all common line heights from 20.00 to 32.00 mm, in line thicknesses 1.5 Pt, 2 Pt, 3 Pt and 4 Pt (0.53 mm, 0.71 mm, 1.05 mm and 1.42 mm).
All line processing operations are controlled electrically or pneumatically. Newly developed multifunction cartridges make it possible to carry out all work operations required in die manufacturing. Cutting to length, notching, straight cutting and tab cutting are naturally standard features. However, a completely developed set of special cartridges also allows the production of precise perforation lines or cutting/grooved lines from conventional cutting lines. Thanks to a totally new bending tool technology, changing from one line thickness to another is very easy and a matter of seconds for the machine operator. The IDEA is equipped with a completely reengineered IN-LINE double broaching unit.
Broaching on both sides is now many time faster, cleaner and absolutely burr-free.
