Karl Linhardt GmbH has modernized its rule processing with state-of-the-art equipment. It has invested substantially in expanding the existing rule preparation system through the acquisition of a modern CoilMate Pro processing center from Elcede.
The first industrial solution using an automated rule processing center based on work division rationalizes the production of dies by eliminating or automating work steps. At the same time, it increases production capacity so that the company can react even more flexibly to its customers' wishes with regard to delivery schedules.
In-line production integrates the processes of notch milling, broaching in different widths, perforation, bending and cutting to length. Linhardt achieves a further in-crease in quality with this new system. This means not only greater abrasion and a higher feed rate which results in a saving of time, but considerably more precise line tracing.
The supplier Elcede GmbH ranks among the world's leading manufacturers of machine tools for the packaging industry. In addition to rule processing centers, the company also produces laser cutting systems, milling machines for different materials and water jet cutting systems.
